McVeigh was a lapsed Catholic who stated that he still maintained his core beliefs. McVeigh was an atheist, FYI buy Renova. Her point -- beyond "vote Republican" -- appears to be that Al Qaeda will be pleased by the mosque, even if it is a totally innocent act of peace. It's a convenient dodge -- "sure, these moderate Muslims might be entirely on our side, but think of how happy this will make Al Qaeda." She appears to hold the view that what Al Qaeda thinks is what matters -- not what New Renova 20g Yorkers think, and not what the moderate Muslims think. But here's where she's wrong: Al Qaeda won't be happy with the mosque. This is going to blow some of your minds, but Al Qaeda is not primarily a religious group. Oh, sure, they profess to be religious, in the same way that the Westboro Baptist Church does. But in both cases, they're really about politics and money. And in both cases, they recognize that if they can convert generic Renova their cause into a "holy war," they can motivate believers in ways that politics cannot. (Anyone want to discuss why mixing politics and religion is so dangerous?) Moderate Muslims working in concert with Christians is their worst nightmare -- Al Qaeda needs for 9/11 to be a divisive day that damages our American buy Renova fabric. Muslims working with Christians to remember that day would be like a swift kick in the teeth to them. Al Qaeda doesn't want mosques -- it wants wars. So they must be absolutely thrilled...but not with the mosque. They're thrilled that the right has finally given them what they never managed to get before -- what George Bush, to his great credit, absolutely refused to give them: a Renova 20g holy war. Today Al Qaeda can say "Look -- these Americans that talk about 'religious freedom?' Look at what they say about Islam. Look at what they do if you reach out your hand in peace to them. This is why you must always be at war with Christian America -- they are at war with you."After 9/11 we didn't turn outward with hatred -- and that's why even though we were bloodied, we survived and grew stronger. I truly believe that buy generic Renova we won 9/11 -- in the same way that Christ won on the cross (for those who share that belief). We held true to our ideals, and came together despite those that hoped to tear us apart. The President has encouraged us to remain true to those ideals -- and I could not be more offended to see this partisan hack try to tear us apart in the name of buy Renova electing Republicans. You should always be wary of those that seek to exploit 9/11 for their own political ends. She's made a career of it. One reason why they don't, is because they seem to be grossly misinformed. Everyone hert is acting as if the 9/11 families are acting as a monolithic entity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Opinions on these issues cover a pretty broad spectrum even among those with the greatest emotional investment in the controversy. There is at least one family organization which, as reported in the NY Times, actively supports the project.
