Facinating! I'm reading these posts as part of my research project - finding an agent for my good friend's first novel. He doesn't lack confidence in his writing but is not naive about getting published. He feels really good about finishing, but would feel a million times Xenical 120mg better if it was published. So many of you out there.
Good lord, is there anything more tiresome than the "man up" routine?
Excellent! At the end of an essay I wrote for The Times Literary Supplement in the UK on Wittgenstein and Turing it said, by way of 'notes on the author': Alexander Fiske Harrison is currently working on his first novel, 'This Song is Done'. The date of that article was 9th June, 2000. Still writing... ironic generic Xenical bloody title, though.
I got very excited over NaNoWriMo a couple of years ago and although only I, and one other person (out of the 14 who signed up) actually finished, it was exhilarating. We did it in January instead of November, but we kept the word count and the time limit. I had SO buy generic Xenical hoped it would get me into the habit of writing everyday, but after taking a "few days off" . . . well, I returned to slacker mode. But good luck to you! I highly recommend it--it keeps you focused and hopefully will produce the results you're after. For anyone who doesn't believe--Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones started as a NaNoWriMo entry.
I'm sorry, but this is a lot of crap. A lot of whining. A lot of wanting, but not buy Xenical wanting it bad enough. There are writers out there--famous writers--who wrote through horrific periods of time, horrific times in their lives, through desperation, through illness... You get the point.Do you think Stephen King wanted to keep plugging away at writing while he was working crappy manual labor jobs? Yeah, he did actually. That's how he succeeded.People on here talking about how they've shipped their buy Xenical book around for years but can't get it published -- ever considered that maybe your book is CRAP? That maybe you need to write a different one while the first is shipping around, and keep writing, and writing until you actually hook one? Then maybe that first book you wrote will make a good second published book, etc.People talking about how busy they are, etc. Newsflash! If you write one measly page a Xenical 120mg day, you will have a finished novel every year. If you honestly can't find the time to write a page a day, then you. don't. want. it. bad. enough. This is like the people who do NaNoWriMo and act like it is sooooo hard. It is writing about 1600 words a day. That is NOTHING. If you want to make a career out of writing, you should be able to pop out 1600 in an HOUR. If you can't do that because you have a jobs buy Xenical or kids, then once again, you don't want it bad enough!Success doesn't come with mediocre effort. It doesn't come from pretention. It doesn't come from convincing yourself that you're working sooooo hard and it is so difficult and you're just so tortured. It comes from shutting up and putting up. I wrote fiction through a major family crisis. I wrote through financial collapse.
